Cruise to Devils’s Isle

This is a reminder of the event.
Treasure Island Yacht Club has reserved Devil’s Isle for September 12 – 14. Due to limited (so
far) interest/ability to attend, we have invited the Dos Rios Yacht Club and Glen Cove YC to join
in the fun.
If you have not been to Devil’s Isle in the past, be forewarned – there is no power, no water and
no toilets. So, you have to be self-sustaining. BUT there is a large dock for tie ups and walking
around, no need to anchor, (there is no worry about anchor dragging!) There are two large
shaded areas with picnic tables, a barbecue, and large swim platform with chairs. And good
swimming and kayaking.
Sign up early, so we can work out a dinner menu for Friday and Saturday (otherwise it’s a “BYO
food/drink”), we will also light the BBQ other nights for your use. B-fast and Lunch are “BYO”.
“Happy-hour” at 5 pm “ish” plus bring “bites” to share.
Docking cost is $25/night and fee is paid to “Treasure Island Yacht Club”.
Land cruisers can join for the day and be picked up by our “boat taxi” at Tower Park.
Alternatively, land cruisers can make overnight reservations at “Jelly Stone Park” cabins at
Tower Park and spend several days at Devil’s Isle. Go online to make reservations.
